| SofCheck Names Caruso to Advisory

BURLINGTON, Mass. (November 8, 2004) – SofCheck, Inc., an independent provider of software analysis and verification technology, today announced the addition of Joe Caruso, President of Bantam Group, to the SofCheck Advisory Board. Mr. Caruso’s Bantam Group is a business advisory firm specializing in early stage technology companies. He also serves on the board of Accumenta, Boston Micromachines, and Process Analytical, Inc. In addition, Mr. Caruso is a trustee of Quant Funds, and is past-president of the National Association of Corporate Directors - New England Chapter. He is a graduate of the Harvard Business School, and an honors graduate of Northeastern University, where he earned his degree in Electrical Engineering. “Joe has a tremendous understanding of the strategic and financial challenges and opportunities of entrepreneurial companies like SofCheck,” said Joe Nedder, CEO, SofCheck. “He is a valuable addition to our board, and will be a trusted advisor as we work to solidify our market position, and expand our offerings in the static error detection marketplace.” Mr. Caruso joins two other highly regarded members of the local high technology community on the SofCheck board—Bob Bechek and Dan Slavin. Bob Bechek is a Partner in Bain & Company, heading Bain’s Software Industry practice area. Prior to joining Bain & Company, Mr. Bechek was Vice President and General Manager of AKR Robotics, Inc. He earned his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Dan Slavin consults to the New England high technology community. He was recently President and CEO of Framework Technologies and formerly served as Vice President and General Manager at Open Market; Vice President of Marketing at Software Emancipation; Founder and President of International Testing Services (ITS); and management consultant with the international consulting firm Booz, Allen & Hamilton.
